To assist you in planning for the close of Fiscal Year 2018:
Departmental index maintenance should be conducted throughout the year; however, it is especially critical that we have accurate data before the books are closed. You should conduct a thorough review of your indices in early May. Error corrections should be submitted as soon as possible, but must be entered and approved by departments no later than Thursday, July 5, 2018, to ensure processing in FY18. If material corrections are identified after this deadline, please contact the appropriate Financial Services Office no later than Monday, July 9, 2018. Departments will not be able to key any journal vouchers during the period July 5, 5:01 PM – July 18, 2018.
