New UAP 3245 Remote Work Policy

All existing In-State Hybrid Remote Work (Telecommuting) arrangements with Staff within the College from the 2023 Spring/Summer Semesters will continue with no additional “Staff Remote Work Agreement” forms, spreadsheets, or ePAFs.  However, “Staff Remote Work Agreement” forms, spreadsheets, and ePAFs WILL need to be submitted starting the 2023 Fall Semester. Watch for additional communication.

IMPORTANT:  All existing Out-of-State work arrangements with Staff within the College are now required to complete the NEW Remote Work Agreement form within 90 days  Existing Out-of-State work arrangements with staff will not have to be converted to term appts and non-exempts staff may continue.  NOTE:  New Out-of-Staff work arrangements will only be offered to Exempt Staff and they will be converted to term appts.  Alternative work locations outside of the United States are not authorized for Remote Work.

Once the Remote Work Agreement  form has been completed (with Employee, Supervisor, and Chair/Director signatures) the Unit Administrator will also need to enter the information into the CAS Out-of-State Remote Work Spreadsheet and send both the completed Form and Spreadsheet to Rob and Shirley Rey for the Dean to sign. Use this SUBJECT LINE : "Out-of-State Remote Work Agreement and Spreadsheet for (Name of Dept/Unit).”  

IMPORTANT:  Once the Dean signs the Remote Work Agreement, we will return the form for you to attach to a Remote Work Begin/Change ePAF (and include Rob as College/School approver, Denise Rivera as Employment Area approver, anyone in Payroll as the FYI, and Applier.
